Where was the MAP hooked up to before?
And what sort of duty cycle are you running on those injectors making that sort of power? I dyno'd 315whp on stock twins, but I was hitting 95% duty cycle on the injectors.
If you want to make "the best sound stage possible" I would highly recommend going active, and getting some time alignment as well.
The time alignment will make a world of difference.
You can install the PB-II in the center console where the TEMS buttons used to be, you just have to separate the unit into two pieces. Store the main unit flat, and have the faceplate come up.
I test fitted it years back, as I was going to do that, but ended up going a stealthier route. I think...
mine has a huge coolant leak. I don't want to look at the Supra, in fear that the water pump has gone bad. I think I'm just going to ignore it until spring.
The fact that your socket broke had little to do with it's "cheapness", rather that you used an inpact gun on it. An impact gun exerts some serious shock loads on the sockets. You'll shatter most good quality non-impact sockets with a good impact gun, let alone cheap ones.
I use a 4ft breaker...
How's your power delivery?
I run 4.30s in my car, but I have tons of power from 4k-7.5k. If you have a narrower powerband, you could very well fall out of it on a shift.
They make for a wicked launch on slicks, but on the street, I have lots of traction issues with a 4.30, and highway...
If your pump is getting old, and not flowing what it should, as boost pressure increases, the pump will have a harder and harder time maintaining pressure.
You should really find a way to check your fuel pressure at high boost. If it's not putting out 38+boost psi, then it's having flow problems.
I've been toying with the idea of air-adjustable shocks in the back, so I might as well go ARB.
This thing needs a knock sensor reewire first. Keeps throwing codes.
I removed the spring from my SSQV so that it opens easier. This allows it to vent more air when running mid-boost.
The proper way to handle it would be to install a 2nd BOV.
