    Anyone else get paid irregularly?

Most factories in my area pay Thursday morning,as long as people show up on Fridays,if not they start paying on Fridays.I worked at a corvette specialty shop for a couple years, they paid every Monday, kinda sucked, but made it easier to save money.

Paint Detailing - 86-92 Single Stage Paint

Glaze:3M perfect it foam polishing pad glaze,or CarBrite black pearl final finish#5 Wax:I really don't have a preference on the wax,Meguiars works well.Look for something that will "sheet" the water off, instead of beading it on the surface.

Paint Detailing - 86-92 Single Stage Paint

If swirl marks/light hazing are all you have to get out, typically a black foam waffle pad and some glaze will work,(low speed ~1200 rpm w/the buffer,do about half a fender at a time.Buff on,then wipe off by hand),microfiber towels work best) Heavier haze/oxidation may require an actual buffing...

    OEM paint clearcoat or not?

Damn near all automotive paints are a bc/cc(two stage) nowadays, whereas ,in the 80's/90's ,almost all auto manufacturers were still using single stage. Metallic colors were/are available as a single stage too. The main thing with clearcoat is that it offers superior UV protection, the durability...

    Vent:

My own girlfriend at the time didn't even find out I had gotten clipped for almost a year afterward. The only reason she ever did was because I have all of my medical records, left them on the table one day and she got nosy.

    does anybody know

I don't think our cars have a ballast resistor, could be wrong though.Don't understand why yours would need one either though, something just doesn't sound quite right.Maybe somebody with a better knowledge of ignition/ electronics will chime in with an explanation.

I've never had a problem with them, done it that exact way on a couple of my MK2's,my MK3,and my cressidas.Don't know why you wouldn't be getting spark now if you were before you changed the coil.

Not sure on the buzzing sound,IMO,I would be worried about why you have no compression first.

Can anyone help me diagnose my Altima problem?

Should be at "0" on the balancer timing mark (where you would shine a timing light to set timing)when the cam gears are aligned with their timing mark. I will check back when you post pics.

I originally had that coil on my first MK2,which I beat the snot out of on MI dirt roads, that's why I picked the high vibration one.Never heard anything bad about any of the available MSD coils.
