No both USDM and JDM 2jz->mkIII swaps will need harness work. Remember that The JDM 2JZ and USDM 2JZ do have some differences, I know for a fact that JDM runs MAP and USDM runs MAF. So if you swap harness, you will also need to change it to either MAP or MAF depending on what engine you have...

Bleed the system? and your cars the hottest when you shut the engine off, no more water pump to push the coolant through the rad. so it soaks up the heat off the engine and doesnt get cooled
