When I got my Ecu, It had an extra set of plugs with it. The ECU had a Cut harness on it but my harness on the engine was completely intact. Well I had to send the ECU out and I did and it got lost in the mail :icon_evil, I found ECU's for sale but None of them had the wires that came with mine. Im not sure if you need them or not. Did I need the Wire/plugs that were on the ECU? Here is a picture of what Im explaining

This connector goes from the ECU to the body harness. It is called connector E10 and will need to be spliced in if your swapping this engine in to the MKIII.
(This is connector E10 if your reading a MKIV wiring harness. It is connector E7 if your reading a Aristo/GS300 wiring diagrams.)

This one goes from the engine harness to the body harness. It is actually considered four connectors in one(Section IK1 containing conectors E and F. And section IK2 containing connectors C and D.) This will also need to be spliced if your preforming a swap.

aristo, and is it hard to source a E10 plug along with the ECU?

nope, call local junkyards for a SC300,GS300 and you should be able to find the clip easily.

For the ecu, look in the forums, you should be able to find one easily. You could also look into a US MKIV ecu as well, though will require a vpc or map ecu to run.
