Figured Id add this. When Bleeding them, they felt great when the wheels were off. I started the car and it was rock solid. It felt like crap after I put the wheels on and have it on solid ground again. Could it be that there is air stuck in the caliper. After 2-3 pumps the brakes feel much...
Figured id update. Bled the clutch and now it makes no clicking noise whats so ever. When it was clicking, it was from the pedal and not the Throw out bearings.
As for the brakes, ive bled them 4-5 times now and no difference, the master cylinder is fairly new. Ive been bleeding them the normal...
Goodmorning. as of a few days ago my car was giving me no problems whats so ever. But 2 things have happened since then. First one is that the clutch pedal is making a clicking noise every so often, always at the same spot too( right when I start pressing down and being almost at the floor) and...
20 y.o and I drive normally for a NJ driver. Dont really speed but if I see a nice stretch of road that im familiar with I will open her up. 2 tickets a fewmonths ago, exhaust and for expired registration( ticketed 4/1 and my reg expired the last day of march).

Well I figured Id update this thread. I found that the DS center bearing has about an inch of play side to side. I also found that I had 2 DS bolts loose and I tightened it up. That helped but its not 100%. I think if I replace the DS ill be set. I have one on order and ill make sure to post the...
+1 on Dr. Tweak. If I have any wiring question I usually go to him since he did my harness. He is great when it comes to customer support. Good build quality too on my 2jz-mk3 swap
I DD my 2jzgte mk3. Overall its a fine DD. Im running an open DP on the stock twins so its kinda loud. Except for that, the down low power is great(if you dont put your car in TTC or go single) and if your banging gears all the time, you will get decent MPG's. Just keep it well maintained
Hey all ive been having a problem with my mk3 lately. Id say around 90 the car starts to rumble/vibrate but only during decel. If im still mashing it, it will be good up to like 110-120 then it will start vibrating. It gets worse when I hit the brakes at that speed. Its scary and I avoid those...
got my 2j there and the outside looked fine. Once I tried to take the harness off, every plug just crumbled once they were touched. pretty much had to replace the whole harness. once I got the valve covers off, I lost it. The lobes of the cams were covered in pitting and rust. looks like the...
yeah I plan on doing some work that is long over due. It seems like my new heater core looks damaged when it came it. The longer tube that comes out of it is ovaled at its end and the lip is bent too. I havent heard anything back from this company either. Ill post up pictures later
Hey all like the title says, I could use a picture of the stock heater core. Specifically the hook ups for the coolant. I got a replacement one and Id rather see if its the same before I rip the dash out. Thanks!
I need to say with the twins and 4.30 rear it makes for a fun car. But i do wish I had more gearing. 1-2 feel like they are just getting into boost before you need to shift. I want to try out the 3.91 though, let me know how it is.
sorry for not replying. I bhg'ed a couple days after and didnt use the car till recently(after a 2jzgte swap). So I never really figured out whats wrong.
