Just some more info to add to this thread. I noticed that today that I had a light squeal coming from my right front break that goes away if I hit the brakes. Im guessing that its the stuck caliper at this point. ill be looking at it tomorrow in depth so ill keep you updated

hmmm maybe, I feel a little pull to the right(where im having the problem) only during coasting. braking and accel are straight. What would be something to look for in a stuck caliper? It was hard to open the caliper up to put the pads in. It was actually really hard compared to the other side...

Okay I just took the car out for a spin and it didnt smoke at any lights. But when I parked it and shut it off the smoke began. its only from my passenger side too.

Id do the resurface anyway while its opened up and nows the time to do it correctly. Do it once, do it right. Head checked for straightness/cut and also the block too, smooth enough so your can put a MHG on it and all held together by arp head studs.

no battery light in the car since the guage cluster is hacked up. I have 1/0 going to the rear and also a 1/0 ground. Cleaned the grounds. Havent tested the battery load yet and how do I test the charging system? Take the alt off and bring it to autozone or something?

welll long time no update. The car is running great now. Not a single problem(knock on wood). The engine has about 2k miles on it. ill post some pics and vids later

My thermostat and Waterpump both have less then 1k miles. Rad is a stock drop in, although I want to get a new and bigger radiatior. I might replace and still bypass it because of all the extra heat I have lingering in the car.
