    My JZA70 Track Times

Reaction time does not count in your elapsed time for a test and tune session. His problem is seen if you look at his 60 ft times. They range from a 2.3 to like a 2.8. The launch is crucial and it looks like you just need more practice and more traction.

I'm curious as to how all of you are "draining" your AC system. Are you using a vacuum pump to evacuate the system into a proper container or are you just removing a valve and letting it out? There is a reason that a licence is required to work with this stuff, it is very harmful to the...

    Guess whats back today finally....

I did almost the same thing. I'm sending my Mk2 home (its here at school with me) and I will be pulling the Mk3 out of the garage later this week. Can't wait for the spring detail and cruise.

Yes the sidewall size does come into play. I was assuming stock sized tires. If you don't know how yours compares you can check the diameter with the tire size calculator in the reference section.

Calling all stock suspension pre 89

Sorry for the confusion. I want it measured from the ground. When I stated center of the wheel I meant not off to one side or the other. If it's not too much trouble that'd be great. Thanks.

I just want to bump this one more time. Just in case there is someone that can measure their car for me. I agree the above idea is a good one and I mentioned it to him. Also, just for reference, I measured my car with H&R springs and Tockico HP's. Front: 24.25 inches Rear: 25...

Calling all stock suspension pre 89

A friend of mine needs some measurements taken so he can determine how he wants his new suspension. He wants to use the stock ride height as a reference. I need measurements of ride height at the wheel wells. Please measure from the ground (center of the wheel) to the highest point of the...

What turbo fits stock CT26 location?

+1 to Dowards post. Those turbos bolt right up, have a far superior housing design and can have a larger shaft that makes it more reliable. They cost more than an upgraded Ct but its worth it.

    Funny Mustang incident

I will add to that story that when I passed by 10 minutes later he was gone. It was just too funny that it happened at the exact moment I was talking about it.

    Funny Mustang incident

I had just left class with my girlfriend and we were on our way to get groceries. I was driving her sunfire down the street (2 lane, 60 km/h) when I see a grey Fox body Mustang with a large, white cowl induction hood race up behind me. I look into my rearview and see a white male, early...

    Speedometer/Gearing Question

The main culprit for a non functioning speedometer is the shorter cable that attaches directly to the transmission. This was the case when my speedo was broken. If you search, there are posts that explain how to go about trouble shooting your speedo. If you fix your speedo...you can find...

    Help...Rim fitting

Did he pick out those offsets himself or is that what was recommended? I would sell/send them back and get something that actually fits.

One problem fixed, another to go! anyone?

I agree with the above post. The loud turbo sound but no boost reading on the gauge sounds like a boost leak. White smoke is coolant, check your overflow bottle and oil. Also, your BOV will cause the car to die after shifts if it isn't recirculated.

Need some help with lowering springs

I have the H&R's paired with Tokico's. I don't find them too stiff and I use it as my daily driver in the summer. The only problem is they are too low for the occasional speed bump (we have some big ass speed bumps at my school). I also think they would ride even better with a better set of...
