ahahhaanope. I speak only from what I've learned about it. Iwill buy one once the engine is done. I was gona make one but since hpf took the initiative to make a 4 incher for the mk3's and not only the mk4, i'd be more than ecxtatic to buy a pre-made piece of art from them. Show us pics when...
Well if too big is bad, then go very small. Try some 1 inch or smalelr tubes to furce air out at high velocity. Make then out of some sort of titanium alloy, or steel atleast stronger than 321 ss and maybe it'l hold together. Then your turbo will spool at 1700 rpms. Think about it.

MDCmotorsports Ok what about these?

YES NO MAYBE SO???

Now that's a HKS manifold I would buy from you. Make that and I'll be first in line. Assuming there is a line, and assuming there are enough people to form a...
If you still have 2g's left, why not upgrade the turbo also? You have the intercooler, and supporting mods. I say either upgrade stock turbo, or spend a bit more and go for sp61gt bolt on goodness. gl with the build.

The stock crank pulley has a rubber type insulator between the inside part and the outer ring that the belts go around. So it basically absorbs vibration. People run with the lightweight one but it does not have any vibration dampner in it to it allows the drivetrain vibrations to go thru the...
That's a crazy good price. Since it's for 2 arms, it's almost half the price of the LIPP one. I'm sure even tho it's made of different materials it's in no way worse than the LIPP one so this is another great addition to your linup at HPF guys!.

Hey Allan, for your greddy manifold, what turbos have you found that will fit? I was looking into it and I only found the TD05 ones from Mitzubishi. Are there any cheap ones? Have you thought about welding T3 flanges on instead of the irregular 3 bolt ones?
eric
Get the awesome Kenwood touchscreen unit. It's widescreen also, and it can be used as navigation screen as well as movie player, possibly even computer.

You're right, you don't post much at only 1 post :icon_bigg
I like your style. It's clean, and well planned out. I noticed the relocation of the ps res and I clearly see why it was done. What are the parks for on the pipes, are those welds? or cuts? When it runs it'll be a fun machine for...
I was just thinking about that tonight. Say you lean on it hard, it could crack, if you smack into it due to an accident it would probably break into pieces and you'd hit the reinforcing bar behind the dash pretty hard :biglaugh: I guess it would have to retain major structural parts from the...
Those style of exhaust housings always confused me. They are inset, so it looks like something goes into it, but I'm pretty sure you have to weld a v-band clamp adaptor on to the ridge to mate it up with a downpipe. If I am wrong somebody please correct me but I don't know any style of clamp...
I bet for a full dash, as long as it fit well and the buyer found it aesthetically pleasing, could fetch atleast $1000 US dollars. Possibly around $1500? Fact I say that is because of the massive labour used to create a full dash, this ain't no din sized bezel piece. I bet it would be awesome...
I think this is what you are talking about. First pic is of the actual downpipe with band around it, second pic is of it installed to the turbo.

**edit**
3rd pic is of an actual V-band style clamp, and the 2 other pieces are the parts it clamps...
Ya for sure just use the NA version bro. That's why I bought one because it locates all the way to the left side of the bay, near the tower I believe? Anyway, it gives you a straight path infront of the turbo to use for piping. And as long as the resivoir stays above the pump you'll be fine...
I don't think ceramic would flake off unless the temperature of the turbo reached and excedded the temperature used in the oven they cure the coated parts in. I'm sure they would have a coating strong enough to resiste the turbo, it's under 2000 degrees right?
eric
If that would include a possible alternator relocation bracket I bet a few would bite it :naughty: Most of us won't have the cash right away, like the goliath your trying to get for us, but if yo uwait, we will come. Thanks for all the amazing supra parts thus far ma71.
eric
That sure is a lot of red. Red is your favourite colour right? Not blue or something :biglaugh: Anyways, that looks cool plus you can easily see any oil spils from anywhere, and I bet it wipes well.
