    EGR is on the intake side in the very back almost against the fire wall. It bolts up on the side of the head not the rear.

    If it works out, drive up to the meet at Toyota of Dallas tomorrow night. I'm hoping to be there if I can get off work for a little while. See if you can do a cold start up on it if possible. If they still are driving it regularly then that may be hard to do. Cold starts reveal a lot.
