Glad to see another DFW guy on here. I bought my 89 N/A with a rod knock. Swapped a used engine into it, also had a knock. Swapped another used engine into it, no knock but BHG. So they gave me one of the knocking engines and I took the head off of it and it's currently getting resurfaced...
Well we ended up using a tractor to lift the engine out of my truck and would you believe the f-ing tractors hydraulics screwed up and BAM!! Engine goes to the ground from about 2 feet. When I eventually overhaul the bottom end it will get a new oil pan now and hopefully it didn't fuck up the...

Pepboys has a 750lb stand for $49 bucks that I was eyeballing. I now have a spare engine I will put on it so I can remove the head to put on my current engine.
