Hey guys i just installed a permanent wideband in my car and i noticed that when i give it gas the car will go super lean (for about a sec or two) then richen. my car is a na-t with a maft and i was having this problem in blow thru, so i switch to the normal pull thru. as for fuel my car has a...
i have a ge-t and i bought the rabidchimp kit and had a bung welded near the top of the oil pan. i get oil from a T fitting from the oil pressure sensor. i've been running it like this for years without problems.
i scrape it twice a day :) too bad i broke my bomex replica a few months ago.. i've been rocking a home depot lip now... costs $4 to replace it everytime it gets really bad
i'm using 03 dodge stratus fans as we speak. they have a built in shroud and cover the entire radiator. no cooling issues... altho i would recommend getting a upgraded alt if u use these
mines in blow thru, me and iceberg have been trying to tune it in blow through with no success. i'm about to switch to pull through now :(. the problem that i was having is that my a/f's would go incredibly lean when i first stomp on the gas, then richen about 2 sec after. I didnt...
i'm rocking a homedepot lip now that my bomex replica is smashed ( i should've taken it off before road racing... dohh!). what i love about the home depot one is, i can bottom out on it all day long knowing it cost me like 5 bucks.
i did pay alot more than you guys but i think mine was a awesome deal. 88 NA 5spd with 28k orig miles, YES i did say orig miles. for $3000. It ran perfect, it now is na-t with 75k miles on it it's been about 4 years since ive had it.
u said it's during the meet? if so i'm gonna have to watch you run and ill think about it... i love road racing but i dont think id be quick enough for autocross
my vote are the dual fan setup from a 03 stratus. i compared them to a taurus fan on high and they are about the same except the stratus fans have a larger coverage/shroud
what would you suggest IJ?
i'm going to check my maft settings tonight to see if they are off, and also is it just me or does my power come in really early.
it sounded like nuts jiggling in the engine on high rpms (tuner said 5500rpm and up he can hear it). everyone that was with me said it sounded like detonation. its not something you can hear in cabin while driving. as far as plugs do you think that swapping them out for another brand will...
ok i just pulled the spark plugs and they are white, so that means the cylinder temps are too hot. i assume this may be leading to my problem? should i try to find 1 step colder plugs?
