    My new daily driver

Man, don't worry about it looking riced out. If it were my daily driver I'd leave it the way it is, except I'd install some underglows so when I went to the usual ricemeet I'd fit in better. You'll have fun pretending to be a ricer, it really is fun. eric

    Oil pressure sending unit removal

Standard wrench my friend. i believe it was one of those adjustable ones were you can change the size of the openning by screwing the corkscrew part. It was a while ago, but I know I didn't use any fancy tools. eric

Take it for whats its worth, but THIS is the future

If you could read your dreams, and alter them via some sort of codexing of your brain, then we're basically just talking about a "matrix-like" society. Real life would be shitty, possibly in a machine-controlled world with ruined cities etc... and we'd "jack-in" to the matrix (our dreams...

    Oil pressure sending unit removal

I used wd40, and a wrench man. It's in a tight spot, you'll just have to wrestle with it. Shouldn't be on THAT tight tho, so give it a few tries. And a few minutes to let the wd40 soak. eric

    I need to apologize.

empera hit it right on the nail Brent. You offered a service for people who did not wish to source the parts themselves, or install it themselves. NO different that paying a show to install your new clutch, brake pads, shift knob :biglaugh: , you get what I mean. People who had problems were...

    Yet another buying question...

I doubt it still has 230 hp nowadays. BTW it would be more like 232 hp, unless it was from an 89+ then it would have 234 hp :momaru: It has more like 190-180 now, unless they rebuilt it which is not likely. You can make it super strong tho yourself. Check for a headgasket problem first thing...

    removing condensor?

True dat whiplash, I didn't use the ac at all in the supra, except in the rain to defog windows etc... Windows down all day everyday is what I did most often. BTW I'm pretty sure the discharge of freon into the atmosphere is illegal:icon_razz eric

    a sad day for me

Ya mine was 5spd with factory alloys, and like I said, got excellent gas mileage, excellent driving experience. Not as good as the supra for sure, but it's a different design. And like mkiiSupraMan18 said I got mine up in the revs all the itme drifting and what not. It was a joy. but I sold it...

    a sad day for me

I suggest a honda dude. Be realistic, if you want reliable, but still sporty, go honda. i had a 91 lude and it sure was quick around town. I ran it with black oil and still drove perfect. I drifted it everyday in the snow and hit all sorts of things, still looked perfect. Easy to customize, i...

    Another Helicoil question thread

I say use the helicoil, unless you're set on spending twice the price for something that may or may not be signifficantly better. I helicoiled all 7 stud holes in about 2 hrs. It was messy, but it was easy. I felt like I was really doing something useful on my engine finally. then my machinist...

    1JZ on the way

    where can i get?

So does hpf, so does cfx. Pretty widely available part nowadays, make sure you get the ATI one tho, I hear the others are not up to par. BTW you have a 7m now? eric

    can i do it?

It was a good question. I know what you meant, and yeah, the afm could change things a bit. If anything, and i were in your shoes I would just get CAA to tow my car to the welder's shop if it's only 18 miles. eric

    Hypothetical Question/discussion

Well you don;t HAVE to use ice. You could use dry ice, or like americanjebus said you could incorporate the ac lines and pump freon to cool the charge. That would be trick. eric
