Did you mill the head at all when you did the first repair? If not, I think that is your problem. And since the block was found to be warped even slightly, that will instantly lessen your chances of a good seal. The old addage "do it right, or do it twice" lives up to its name here. good luck...

I think it might be a little cheaper in the long run to use the 2jz plenum, besides, it won't scream "modified!!!" whenever you pop the hood, so it'll retain some sleeper status still. eric

That looks like a stock ct26, and stock turbos are not ball bearing. eric

He's probably referring to 120lbs/ft with engine oil. ARP's torque ratings are higher for when you use regular oil instead of the supplied lube. eric

You guys need to become morea active ahahaa. The head without cams can't weigh more than 50-60 lbs, probably closer to 50. And fully loaded it can't weigh more than 65 or so. Now the crank weighs a tone, around 70 or so and it's still manageable. eric

It would be fun I bet. Take measurements, and then cut all the skin off the body and doors etc and make the tube body like a nascar. It owuld be quite involved tho, getting it balanced. eric

Is this the best engine bay ever shown on sm? Possibly. The entire thing is form only for function, nothing isn't made exactly the way it is so it does anything other than function. Sure some things are polished, but man, your work, and the pride you have poured into this project surely are...
