I'll remember that Shaeff, I have another spare one so I'll try that and maybe stick in an aftermarket one and see what happens. If that all fails and it's still going crazy I'm going to just trailer the car up here so I can work on it all the time and not have it so far away :(

It doesn't shoot up as soon as I turn the car on, it'll sit down at the bottom like normal then as the car starts to heat up like normal the guage starts to move. Instead of stopping at the middle like it usually does it just keeps going and going, and ends up past the H.

I took out the t-stat and tried running without one and it did the same thing. My motor isn't a JDM it's just a USDM or CDM or whatever. I really hope it's not a BHG, the oil looks clean and so does my coolant, but I guess I could do a leakdown test and see how it's looking. I pulled the EGR...

I know it's not in backwards, so maybe I'll pick up a new one and slap that in and see how that goes. Kind of sucks to know it's not a JDM but oh well. I don't think it's really important to be a JDM, it's just most JDM motors are supposed to be low mileage. So who knows how much is on this...
