Well guys...a deal fell in my lap and I took it.

86-87 mk3 N/A, i'm not sure which year because i haven't seen a title..and just don't care to look hard enough to find it...but i know its that year range...

Anywho...she's got a 5spd, and that's where the good stuff stops... Rod Knock...been sitting for 4 years... no sport package, silver paint, but no clear coat left...missing a few interior bezels etc...

best part...it was free...completely free.

Towed it home today..and i'm gonna start work on it soon as i can..
I'll get pics up tomorrow..

i dunno about that IJ, cuz it's not going turbo...and it's gonna be Daily driver...

there's gonna be alot of supra drivers that are faster....but jealous of the fact i get to choose between 2 supras each morning..

hey i had the option of choosing between 3 supras at one point and time but now i only have one good luck with the rebuild though.

Ok...here's the pics..its filthy...nasty..smelly..been sittin since 01, and it needs a fuel pump...oh and those pesky rod bearings..but i want to get it running before I tear the bottom end apart..

anywho..after the pics i went throught and vacuumed out all the trash under the hood and in the rear hatch by the seal...which is shot...in the compartment where the tools go..you can see the water line...suprisingly...very very little rust...i pulled the plug and it drained for 5 minutes...same with the spare tire well where there is SOME rust..but im gonna wire brush it and paint it inside and underneath when i drop the tank down... as you can she's in rally mode..and will stay taht way damnit..

The Int is nice and clean..missing a few tidbits here and there...i'll get those along the way tho..no big rush...

how much would it cost to send a whole passenger front quater panel?
theres a supra in Nashville with one that has trim its silver and still has a bit of the clear coat. im pretty sure its still in the junk yard, so next time im down there if u want i can check it out for u.

nah don't worry about it..im gonna take that one off first and smack it with a hammer a few times...if that doesn't work i'll resort to a new fender..maybe...

..the cleaning will wait till she's ready to roll out...no sense takin the time to wash when i can use my time to try and fix it..

btw..what do you guys think if i was to do a thread similar to IJ's.
Only a budget build for a Daily driver NA car?

Start out with pics of the car like it is...then explain all things and prices of stuff as i fix it along the way..with the final result being Daily Driver-dom
