You do realize that you need a title to scrap a car right? Have you called the police department to check the vin on it to make sure it's not stolen? You're going to have to do the paperwork to get the title before you get rid of it. Trust me, I went through this on my first parts car.

AAA covers any vehicle in your possession. How far is the Supra needing to be moved? Where from and to? Most likely they'll say no (I've tried this before, didn't work too well), but they have said yes in the past. You need to tell them the car broke down and would not start.

After a couple hours of hard work later the black goop is 99% off, and that's as good as it's going to get. I also got my ViPEC mounting bracket from Ray Hall today, just have to create a mounting plate to attach to mounting bracket. Pics up later, I'm off to work on putting the dash back in...

I thought the painter was going to do it, but I guess I didn't relay that info to the painter. The corners looked just like they did before paint, except with paint on them. I'm going to do some research and see what I can come up with.

check ebay, that'd be the place to look for pricing. BTW, I have that Supertramp album, paid $1 for it at the local flee market. It now resides on my wall as decoration along with other vinyl albums and their covers.

Fair warning, U-Haul full trailers (which you'll need for the Supra) weigh just as much as the Supra itself. You better have a truck with a really high tow capacity (atleast 8k lbs). I usually just rent one of their 10' trucks to tow the trailer.

Just curious, why did you let the tow truck driver drive it up onto the flatbed in the first place?

I picked up the flushmount parts from paint today and put some black goo in the corners to clean it up. I'll probably put some clear silicone over the black stuff to smooth it out.
