    SLOW7M'S BIG BUILD

That woudl work, but id probably try putting it a little more accessable in case you need to make adjustments to the 2 step for different track conditions, etc. I havent started the fuel rail yet unfortunately. I have to build the manifold first :)

    SLOW7M'S BIG BUILD

Just my opinion, but i wouldn't run both solid motor and tranny mounts. Usually its solid motor/poly tranny or vice versa. I like there to be a little "give" somewhere along the line. I wouldn't mount it anywhere in the engine compartment. A bit warm for my tastes. Id put it in the glovebox...

    My SILV experience

That is crazy! :aigo: I think it would be cool to drive across the country just for the sights alone...I'd probably want to strangle my GF 1/3 the way there, but it would be a cool experience nonetheless. :)

    Slow's build: Wheelie Bar Equipped

The runners aren't welded to the collector. It is a double slip fit and the runners are bolted to the collector. Some pics to help show what i mean.... runner with outer slip to the left, collector to the right tabs are welded to the runner and the collector to facilitate bolting...

    Slow's build: Wheelie Bar Equipped

Not using any rod for the tacks at all. Developed a little hole on one of the joints when it wasn't quite tight enough so i filled it a bit, but i agree its a bit "hot looking" Using 50 amps max, 3/32 red to a point, and 20 cfh argon. Not gonna do the full welding until i work on some more scrap...

    Slow's build: Wheelie Bar Equipped

Goal is 7.90s. Its going to take a looooooooong time to get there (lots of suspension tuning, getting used to the car, and broken parts) But thats where i want it to be eventually. The turbo is capable of it, just gotta make it all work as one....
