drop in a JDM 7MGTE, for the moment, those are cheap..
but REBUILD RIGHT AWAY, and swap your engine back in, JDM motors are like a box of chocolates......brown, covered in coconut and delicious...? No....anyway, don't trust a JDM motor very long..
Check your CPS and connections, I know when I was NA it'd crank forever and not start, scraped the contacts on the distributor and she fired up the 1st time after..
you're always going to run a little rich in a stock 7m, but with a crack in the turbo inlet pipe you're going to be running VERY rich if metered air is escaping..
get it fixed ASAP...
My girl's Momo hub came with a ground wire hook up, not sure what the hell it's for, but I'm going to install that hub soon. It already had an aftermarket wheel so installation of the TT-R wheel was straight forward, but she complains about the horn, so we'll see if swapping the hub will work..
could definitely be your turbo. My turbo was so fucked oil would leak out the intake filter..

new turbo's been working great, so inspect it, and check the shaftplay..
you're boosting and your venting BOV is letting metered air out, which the ECU has already added the right amount of fuel to, causing you to run rich for a few, and sometimes you'll run too rich and it'll stall out on you..
you can downshift and brake at the same time to a crawl and then push...

sounds like your transmission is downshifting when you step on it, which is what it's supposed to do..
there's a "kick down" button on your gas pedal that causes it to shift..
