    Speakers?

I bought those 4" pioneer speakers in Downtown LA, I got 4 speakers for $60 and they work better than my blown ones. Not great speakers but they are good for the price and ease of install.

Quick grounding point question (2 near transmission)

I have two grounding wires that are hanging near the transmission. One is farther back and I believe that it goes on one of the four bolts that are on the transmission mount. The second ground is near the block and the slave cylinder. Does this ground mount to the block or does it go to the...

Need help with a small question about Redline

Um, the 86-89 is missing the counter weights on crank for piston 2 and 5. The 89-93 has these counter weights for all pistons. The 89-93 has more weight, so it has a lower redline but it should be smoother. So, a little more smoothness (89+) versus less weight (pre89). But is reality, it...

How do you tell what year the engine is???

My 90 engine has the 7M crank (of course) but it is not a block with extra reinforcement. So, that must have come later and it is even rarer because there are less half as many 90, 91, and 92 supras as there are 87s alone.

    BHG, what do i do!

I hope you have a garage, if you pay someone to do it it will cost a fortune on a student's budget. You need to take off you head and get it cleaned and milled (should be less than 100). If you also want them to remove the valves and reinstall them than it might cost $200 to do that on a...

    would these fit???

Anything more than 50 profile is like a truck tire. The GS300 with 16s has a 60 profile tire and it is BIG. So, considering that is an 18 it was either on a really big car or a light truck. Plus, its only 225...

    R154 Rebuild ?'s

You need a press and other tools. My friend tried to install a final drive on his civic and he ran into problems. I would just pay someone to do it or else find a friend that has rebuilt a few before.

How much does your supra weigh?

I got mine corner weighed at the race track. They have the scales there to check weight requirements for competition cars, however, if you ask they will probably weigh you in as well.

    Oil Accumulators

The accusump maintains the pressure in the oil system. So, if you leave it open when the car is idling the pressure might only be 10lbs or less when you start it back up. However, I don't really see this as a problem. Furthermore, I assume that 3qt is the amount of oil that the sump can hold...

    wheel spacers

The H&R are hubcentric while the Project Kics are not. There are also plenty of great domestic spacer products out there. Spidertrax spacers are 1.25" hubcentric with separate studs for Jeeps (not sure if their lug threading matches ours). http://www.spidertrax.com/s.nl/it.A/id.1134/.f
