Under vacuum the fuel pressure is lower than at Atmospheric pressure. However fuel pressure goes up even higher when the regulator reference/vacuum line is under boost. So yeah at idle you have increased the Fuel Pressure making it run more rich and lowering the VF output in the diagnostic...
I would recommend not doing either of those things. You need vacuum hose/reference on the regulator so that under boost Fuel pressure increases at a 1:1 ratio to boost. I myself would never modify a union bolt either.
Also, I think you need to just get a wideband and stop modifying things...

Don't quote me but I am pretty sure that unless you are cranking the car the fuel pump does not receive power. To send power to the pump you need the key in the ON position and need to jumper Fp and +B terminals in the diagnostic block. See if you pump gets power by doing this.
After seeing this thread and recently (3 days ago) installing the lex/550 upgrade into my car also using the factory FPR I decided I would check my Vf's to see how they compared to the OP. My car has about 100 miles on it since the upgrade, but only about 30 miles since I last pulled the EFI...
A mini Road America?? come on :) I would say it is like a mini Tsukuba or another tight technical course, although the elevation change is fun. I had my Supra out there this last fall with FVSCC and the track definitely is fun. I would say max speed of about 70 miles an hour tops in one...
Well when I asked Curt at Elmhurst about it he said they were discontinued from Toyota. If you say they are still available then maybe I missed something or he mis-understood me, but Im not sure how that would happen.
Well I know the mk4 has a 53/47 F/R weight distribution so that sounds like excellent weight distribution to me. I am sure the mk3 is not too far off of this number as the layout really didn't change and the mk3 is just a junior mk4.
And not choosing the 2jz because of some mk4 owners is...
supras should have an I6T imo...buy to each his own...if you want to ditch the 7m the 2j is the only other option. If you want a v8 I beleive Chevy made a corvette in the 80's/90's
Yeah that one is a pain to replace IIRC, I actually think I have my old one here, but truthfully I would recommend getting a new one from Toyota unless you want this to happen again in a year or two.
^^ True, but I did set them correctly and then moved them lower. If anybody has the e-codes and does not know how to aim them properly go to the tech section using the following link

I love my Ecode Hellas but I definitely agree with this post. It took me a long time to get used to the high beams the hellas have, but the low beams are absolutely kick ass. To combat the high beam issue I did set my low beams just a little low to help the high beams be more useful for me.
