Did you put the intercooler on backwards...? Just curious... I used a CXRacing universal kit with the Spearco Replica from Driftmotion. Fits pretty well with my 2jz, but I'm not using powersteering or AC. The lower pipe runs underneath the alternator lines and coolant line like a stock 7mgte...

Yeah, if you start it with the lube between the block and bearing, you could very well spin the bearing. Definitely go from scratch. Good luck! I have to take mine to be decked and hot tanked

I have found that the best idea is to go ahead and take the block and head to Abacus. They quoted me a killer price on checking them and decking as necessary. I am also having the block hot tanked. I'm going to leave the wrist pins and pistons together, but possibly replace the rings. I am more...

Just to make it a little bit clearer why Jdub keeps referring to your cracks, the SLIGHTEST crack can cause boost leak. Trust me, I had the same issue with my 7m. You'll more than likely notice the problem gone if you fix that. ::shootme::

I am determined to make this f*cking build work. I am pulling the motor and having the block hot tanked and decked and the head rechecked for proper smoothness. Then it will be POWA TIME!

Ok, after looking at a picture of my head when it was at The Head Shop, I have found the area that is causing the issue. Why, I don't know. Maybe it's because the block and head aren't sealing properly on the MHG. We torqued it down to 80 ft-lbs with moly-lube after 5 heat cycles on the motor...

Ok, so the motor is in. Timing seems to be just right, but she still misfires a lot. Car randomly shuts off, so I am going to check all of the relays and fuses. There is nothing grounding out, the engine wiring was done perfectly this time. Second issue, oil pressure is running close 100psi...
