    New guy from fort bragg

Strange parts list. N/A cams? IS300 MAF? 5MGE Oil pump? Some of those just don't sound quite right if it's a 7mgte. Someone please chime in if I seem under-educated. What are your power goals? Who is building it? And btw, Welcome to SM from a Supra in Virginia!

    May 2010 Meet

Lol I am really enjoying how this is playing out! I know quite a few Scion crews who would enjoy hanging out and dynoing, not to mention the non-ricer other models that WILL show up. I mean, c'mon... It's a group of supras... As soon as an enthusiast drives by, they make a call/text, and the...

    F1 Clutch Never again

I would have to recommend the Southbend Stage 3 clutch. http://www.suprasport.com/South-Bend-OFE-Street-Series-Clutch-Kit_p_475.html Quite possibly the best clutch I have ever had. Wonderful grip, better than stock drive-ability with the Driftmotion SS clutch line (runs about $38), and it...

    Maximum Boost?

In all fairness, you have been here for almost a year. Have you searched for the info? Have you seen the fact that you can push the 7m to many different levels depending on the condition of the motor and the supporting mods you have? Then take another look at your question, and see that it does...

    May 2010 Meet

Lmao I love the license plate. '1000 HP' indeed :evil2: That looks like quite a nice place. I wonder what their tuning rates are for once I'm beyond the slightly stock stage...

    May 2010 Meet

I think the shirts are a great idea. I have a few ideas for logos, but it all comes down to budget for those types of things. Even the silhouette of each generation supra in black on a white T would look interesting, yet be cost effective due to the low amount of ink and colors. Off topic - I...

    May 2010 Meet

Yes guys, that was awesome! I haven't been to a meet in a while and I am very glad I decided upon this one. Hope I was able to shed some light on any fellow na-t'ers with the 2jz's.

    May 2010 Meet

Well this is shaping up to be an awesome meet! :2ar15: On the side, I actually asked someone today "When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?". Of course, all the car guys chime in 'Yes!'. lol

    Pwnt

HAHAHAHAAAA!!!! I love that shit. That had me rolling! But that vette is extremely sexy. Even WITH the batman emblems. It just adds to the look. Always loved that body style. Good find!

Which shop Apple? Sounds good Dustin, good luck out there. If you need help, I actually have learned a thing or two you know. Then again, Josh wouldn't have his car together and almost ready to run if I didnt... :sarcasm:

    May 2010 Meet

....... Of course we all walk before we run. And those of us that try it in reverse do tend to fall. My comment was not meant as 'the ultimate mkiii', but more as a running correctly mkiii. Don't worry, I understand my mistake with the 89. It was a good/bad idea. And trading it was one of the...

    May 2010 Meet

Well, I do know that All Aspect Motorsports has a very accurate dyno, and they give good discounts for Dyno Days. Not to mention the guys there have always been good from what I've seen. They are located on Battlefield Blvd, near Mount Pleasant, so they are out there. It would be a good...

Cross swapping motors from different years

Hehe, I know I don't need an 87 block. It's all the same beyond the electricals. I'm not a complete fool when it comes to 7m's. Only half of one :sarcasm: And good to have clarification on the mounts Jdub, thank you! :icon_bigg Already have the good 7mge and W58 in the garage. Just have to...

    Early Fall Meet

... No faith. That's fine, just wait. And I'm no longer moving to SC until further down the road.

Cross swapping motors from different years

It does matter because of the electricals and motor mounts :sarcasm:

    Early Fall Meet

How much? I already have the ecu, harness, and ignitor sourced. What else needs to be done to that motor? I'm not planning on more than 400-450hp once its all said and done, but I will stay stock for the beginning with ARP studs and a MHG. Shoot me a text or something. I tried to send you one...

Cross swapping motors from different years

That's why I'm not too worried. Plus, soundslikesemi87 is running high boost on a stock head gasket, properly torqued, with stock internals and 57(?) trim turbo. I almost pissed myself with how quick the boost kicked in and how fast that car was. A testament to the 7mgte's capability.
