I don't think it was 02 sensor or bad injectors. Mine were fine. My coolant sensors were fucked though (both gauge and ECU). Makes sense that the ecu wouldn't see boost.

It doesn't appear to be a boost leak. It's almost as if the ECU was limiting it until the temps rose. Could this be a safety feature?

I doubt there will be codes. Mine did the same thing. Before I knew anything about my car, I actually tried to punch it one day for the hell of it (and i was in a hurry) and the turbo would just spool and the car would go nowhere.

I have to agree, try a new MAF sensor. I 'cleaned' mine before I knew anything when i first bought my car and it toasted it completely. Even with good electronics cleaner. Mine had the same issue afterwards until I replaced the sensor.
