Well I talked with Bill today, my Supra is back on the road and my stuttering issue is gone :) Because of time constraints, I'm going to let Bill do the tuning. Bill and Randy (BIC Performance) should be doing some street tuning on it Monday night so it will be in better shape to drive to the...
Todays message from Bill Bowering
"Your wiring harness is all back together. Just need to fix that broken vacuum port and then the intake will go back on. I need to get a car off the hoist and get yours on so I can figure out how to address the main power supply and kill switch. Will give you...
Talked to Bill Bowering today, this is what he said
"Pulled your intake and wiring harness today. Also got your harness apart and I am probably 50-60 percent through with the repairs/ modifications. I did find several areas of concern that could lead to the driveabilty issues we were having...
Sooo yeah, I finally got my Supra up to BIC Performance today to have Bill Bowering work his magic on my wiring and install my catch can (I keep forgetting to install it). It should be ready by PacNW Supra Nationals. Side note, the border patrol really doesn't get the concept of Americans...
Wiring, what a PITA. Atleast you're making progress, so that's good. It's a lot of work, but it will all pay off in the end. Keep up the good work Matt.
Wow Gord, talk about carnage. Atleast you're retired and have nothing but free time. Get that new motor cleaned, inspected, and installed. I'm really looking forward to meeting you at PacNW. Atleast you can still salvage a lot of the parts from your blown motor which you can sell to help...
No worries. My offer stands. Feel free to give my number to your fellow Canadians who might be interested in my offer. Sucks to miss this meet, but I'll make PacNW for sure (hell, it's my honeymoon vacation :) )
I won't be making it, got work at 4PM and that's too close for my comfort. But if any of you Canadian's want to come down the night before you can crash at my house. I have plenty of sleeping and parking room. My driveway is pretty large and very flat (not even a sidewalk to drive over).
Must be Super.Secret.Supra's Supra in the vid since he was given credit. I must say, that was a very, very awesome vid that defines most of us car guys. The who did the vid did an amazing job.
All hail the Supra community coming together to help each other out in a time of need. Dave, good to see that your insurance will be covering the damages and that you will have your Supra back on the road quickly. Pics of the damage?
