Your offsets are 3mm further inside the wheel well than mine(front wheel). You should have no problem running the tire sizes you mentioned. I am currently running a 225 on the front but I will be buying 245's when these wear out.

I think the pre-89's are killing the look of my car from the back. IMO the 89+ tails make the rear end look wider and lower. I also want to have matching trim all around.

I'm in the camp of body work first, engine/coilovers/wheels second. This is assuming the car is reliable. Then you have a great looking, reliable sports car that isn't very fast. What's wrong with that? Then further down the road you can go NA->T or 1J swap. I would do this before...
