front seal on the turbo could be blow
-check turbo for shaft play
- replace turbo more than likely
-pull plugs for oil being burned...this could...
how much did you shim? it sounds like you might have just shimmed enough to over come the looseness of the wg diaphram. try adding a few more shims and see what happens.
1K covers pretty much everything and as i go through mine im learning theres alot more to it. a Ron R mani is around 600 for the long runner, 200 for a new ic, 300 for hardpipes and misc and pretty soon it adds up. these are just ballpark figures but you get the idea. im planning on my car...
a local here in the dfw area had the hipower muffler (might have been the catback) and it sounded pretty good. a little on the loud side but good. worth every penny
/\ yup it will :) loop the water lines. its easier and more effective as it doesnt effect flow in the cooling system as blocking off would. oil if fine just make sure you let it idle down some.
he sold his car over a year ago (closer 2 i think) what are your questions about the MAPECU? just an fyi, powerhouse is discontinuing their support of the MAPECU shortly, if they havent already
it all depends guys. you are forgetting that different turbos are effective at different ranges. the stocker is said to be good till about 16 psi before its diminished returns (i ran mine at 18 before i got a bigger turbo) and my sp61gt came with the 1 bar WG.

they are pretty new on the market still so only a few people have them. in the near top trim witha ll options they can be pretty pricey and make some good horsepower (malloyx did over 550 iirc) are you looking to go the bolt on route or new mani also? also how wild do you want to go as far...
unhook the lover line that feeds the rack and see if anything comes out.
if it doesnt you need a new resivor as the screen has gotten clogged. this happened to me and fried a pump :P
if you drive like you type i see no problems for the RSX. you dont know if the guy doing your swap is going to leave the stock twins or put a big single on it? sounds iffy at best so far.
