Put my nitto dr's on last week. Haven't made it to the track yet but damn do these things hook up!!! I can rev it up to 3k, drop the clutch and all I get is a little err........ These things will easily get me into the 13's.........whoohooo.........:biglaugh:

And then they claimed there first victim this morning.......................my clutch..............:3d_frown: ...............shit.

Any ways end of story.....................Drag radials + 263rwhp = slipping stock clutch

Yea, tell me about it. Try ET Streets + ~350 RWHP = bye bye stock clutch, thrust bearing, and 1st gear synchro. But fuck it, it was fun. :evil2:

They are great.........I wont be repairing the clutch just yet. Im going to the track on the 16th and will see if I can burn it up real good then................:naughty:

lol yea.. i had some nitto drs.. they killed my stock clutch too.. :( i tried to do a burn out without getting them wet.. needless to say it felt weird and saw the speedo at 0.. so let out.. glazed it pretty good, but eventually came back, but bought a spec stg3 after that..

My stock clutch held 340rwhp on nittos just fine....several passes and a couple thousand miles on the street with many hard, 5000rpm, cobra/evo/sti/c5vette-killing launches....


I did wear it down to the rivets, but it NEVER slipped.
