umm y would you want to sell? its 104-5 here in dallas tx and i just got done doing plugs and a rad flush. came in sweaty as a pig but the car runs great with cold a/c..... its cant be that hot in ct...
then theres a big part of your problem. what year is your car as i may have access to a few ecus. you can wire it up with just one knock sensor but i cant remember exactly how its supposed to go.
theres a local guy that is going to go the sc route too. i think mounting it on the pass side and running it over to the stock turbo mani using the turbo afm as it is setup for a f/i. i would run a ffim as it would simplify the overall setup and you could keep the intercooler then ala srt6 setup
its not nearly as bad here as it is over on SF so i really wouldnt gripe much. there are limits to what can be said and thats reasonable. the mods here are the most fair of all the boards im on and i respect their judgement.
asics is on the na manifolds not turbo ones. not on the turbo. yes you will see gains from going ffim, they wont be as big as if you had an upgraded turbo but there will be some gains. just got done with mine :)
gonna need some more info there man. hows the car running overall, are there any engine codes, what have you changed since the last time it ran correctly?
gonna need some more here man for help
depends how much work you can do yourself. depending on engine/tranny cost that alone can cost 1500-5k. then theres the little stuff you dont think about like the wiring, sensors, custom peices needed etc etc.... 2500 would be the min i think and going from there. check the 1j section to get...
i have the red top in my car and its awesome! car sat for over 4months without moving and it started right up no issues. will be buying one again if and when it goes out.
the intake is a ron r custom job thanks to elvis (aka satan) its a shorter runner but still retains ac :)
the motor mounts are fine as far as i know. but ive been kickin around the idea of solid mounts for some time now.
There was a thread recently about if people ever finish their cars. the answer for me at least is a YES!
Thanks go to Christian (Supraguy88t), he did the majority of the work on this car including the FFI conversion and God knows what else. He really is an unsung hero on these boards...
yea you need to reset the super computer. you can also change the duration of the service intervals. check the tsrm as i think you hold the inner 2 buttons while on the oil change screen. you can use this also for your gas mileage
