sooooooo i finally got one side complete!!! gave up trying to get both sides done tonight. its been quite the ordeal from having to get wheel spacers to extended studs to cutting studs cause too long to first hub centric rings not being tight enough fit to ordering the wrong bolts was getting a...
holset and bw use the same drain flange just not inlet. that isn't going to change the angle required to get it to the stock drain though. your braided line should work. my buddy has been using one on his compturbo i think its a 5858. heres a pic he took. ideally you don't want any flat section...
so i still haven't got mine on yet!? i ordered a second set of hub rings and they fit nice and tight so i got that issue solved. now the bolts i ordered dont fit in the knuckle!!! theyre the same part number as the link so how do you tell if you're ordering the skinny or fat ones? nobody has...
How have you not checked to se if the ones on your car fit well or not? Cause you don't want to drive on them till the rotors centered perfectly that's for sure!
Yeah the 350z rotor isn't going to work. The Mercedes rotor fits perfect and the rotor just fits past the pad so there's no pad overhang. The problem is finding a good way to center the rotor perfectly so there's no vibration or the rotor will sit past the pads then the other side be inside the...
I guess the ones I got weren't made that well. With the centric ring on the rotor I can lift it up and down when its resting on the on the hub. It's like it doesn't fit tight enough on the hub. I was hoping if anything it'd be to tight so i could sand it down for a perfect fit but is too loose a...
so i went to install the brakes today and the hub centric rings i got didn't center the rotor good at all. i just got some plastic ones off amazon. i guess im going to try some aluminum ones and hope they fit better. if anyone has a place where they got them that work good let me know.
^the...
i got the plain rotors off rock auto for 70 bucks a piece they're stoptech's and look like decent rotors. the hats painted black and the inside where its vented. part number is 12535089. and for pads i got the porterfeild r4-s part number ap 847. im going to put them on this weekend most likely...
so i need to replace my front wheel studs to run a spacer. i get arp wheel studs. this looks like a good option instead of breaking down the whole hub. the only thing that seems to be left out is how to you get the studs out? im guessing you just hammered them out but won't that damage the wheel...
i mean it will work but not ideal. if you like it running rich as a diesel truck then yeah. with just a stock ct26, intake, and exhaust you will get noticeable gains from the afpr and wideband leaning it to 11.5:1. stock it runs like 9:1 which kills the power. so with the lex/550's its...
have you personally ran the lex/550s on a stock fuel regulator? cause really you need the afpr and a safc2 or something alone those lines or its gonna run like shit......lol
you're gonna want an afpr if going with the lex/550's. the stock regulator is just a "fpr" as its not adjustable. its still rising rate though which is nice.
thats the same turbo besides it has the open .88 that i paid 250 bucks to get ride of and replace it with a divided .83 on my s363. get the one with the .83 to begin with. dap has good customer service to and answers the phone. i hate it when a business has bad customer service thats a instant...
i ordered a set of rotors that should be here monday. then i can see what size spacer i need exactly. im going to run the spacer then possibly get different wheels in the future.
yeah id run a spacer before grinding things
im sure he's a little confused but happy too lol
idk they might work. i tried my wheels and they only fit with a 7mm spacer. but mine have a pretty big lip so if it the spokes are flush with the face of the wheel they might work. also i just spaced my stock rotor out with some washers to...
i should have been more specific but i meant how thick is the rotor hat on the mecedes rotor. cause to test fit wheels with just the calipers you need to know that cause it looks much thicker than the stock rotor hat so its going to space the wheel out more than stock brakes and give more...
nice thanks!!! thats a decent discount im still not positive on what clutch i want to run the osgiken str looks really nice and both disk are sprung which is something id like. im gonna look into the spec more im thinking the ss trim rated at 900flbs would be best for me since i want...
i would try to not buy a used turbo especially a precision since they seem to have a higher fail rate than garret or borg warner or holset that can make things well enough oem manufactures use them. i have a s363 on my car now had a hx35 before. the hx35 was a nice jump from the ct26 but not...
i got a set too cause i figured they're all gonna get bought up sooner than later. that ebay seller is prolly thinking wtf all the sudden everyone is buying my used mercedes calipers hahahaa. they were shipped fast and packaged well to.
hoping they fit i have xxr 962 in a 17x9 +35 up front...
