looking at the dyno grap it looks like 5000-5500rpm it hits real hard. im sorta in the same boat as suprakid where i maxed out my hx35 and want more but love the crazy bottom end power. seeing his graph makes me positive now that im going with the fmw s362. flows a lot more than the hx35 but...
im sure they're out there but never looked. it has to be pretty high up there when on high and low moves a good amount of air also. maybe someday when im bored i'll make a video
thanks guys! and yeah its definitely an upgrade from what i had on there since my clutch fan wasn't function properly. when it was though it worked to cool the car as i used it for years. but like i said clutch fans just don't move a ton of air at low rpm when compared to an efan. theres tons of...
so about a month ago i started to notice my car was running sorta hot when driving out the mountains to go to the river. after some investigating i came to the conclusion my clutch for my fan was done. cause when the car was hot the thing would just free spin and had no drag on it. and if you...
heres my run from this past weekend at the medford fall enduro. its a challenging little track. you get 5 timed laps and the total time is what counts. its actually not that easy to get all 5 in a row perfect. as you will see in the video i made a pretty bad mistake at the end :: wah ...
depends what gear im in. if in the lower gears like 1st or 2nd it hits hard at like 3700rpm but in 3rd and 4th of course it spools at a lower rpm. and im running a tt headgasket so compression is sorta high. now im running the 16psi springs and its significantly slower. running race gas at...
im sure its just a typo but if your bearing clearances are 25 thousandths you are gonna have serious issues and must have the wrong bearing shells lol. im hoping you meant 2 1/2 thousandths as in .0025" which is on the looser side but could be made up with coating the bearing and possibly...
ive broken a couple subframes now and they're always broken in the same place by where the pinion bolts up. ive seen some people that have almost broken theirs in half but i think thats from them driving on it forever with the pinion bolt area cracked. now on my 3rd subframe i took the time to...
thanks my mph in the 1/4 is 118 running low 12's like 12.2's but my 60fts aren't that great. if i could get them in the 1.8-1.7 range id be in the 11's easy and trapping in the 120's. and yes the car drives great don't have to go to the dyno everytime i mess with the boost. going to swap springs...
thanks im really happy with it!!! im thinking the n/a cams are the cause of the drop in power up top. or possible its just too much boost for the exhaust housing. either way its a lot of fun to drive!
my cars fast enough to be up there!!! heres a video of a 12.28 run at 118. need to get my 60fts down and it'd be in the 11's

so the big diesel shop around here Poncis Diesel Center had their diesel days this weekend. you might have heard of them if you are into cummins. anyway they had a portable dyno jet there so i figured i'd see what my car makes since i had the 20psi springs in my wastegate and 104 left from...
i would get a twin disk if you can swing it. i have the action 6 puck rated at 500hp and its slipped when drag racing on me a couple times. i don't think it liked all the heat from burning out to heat up drag radial plus the lauch right after. my car made 385whp at 15psi but i drag race on 20 or...
to see if the egr gasket is bad with a COLD engine start it up then put you hand below and around the egr cooler and you'll feel hot exhaust blowing out if its bad. pretty easy to check if you ask me. then if its bad you don't have to pull the trans to fix it lol. all you have to do is pull the...
haha yeah no problem!
i can see that i just like to do it myself to know its done right and i enjoy working on my car but understand how you might not want to mess with it :D
well if the camber bolts are loose and not seized thats a really good thing cause that ruins bushing more than the...
i used this one. you have to be creative but it can be done if you have the right stuff laying around. when removing it you have to press it out towards the back of the car. so you have to use something thats small at first to fit in there then you switch to somthing bigger the more the bushing...
yes they do. when i did the ones on my car i used a harbor freight balljoint press and large sockets. did it on the car too all i had to do was remove the suspension link to get access. you'll need a impact gun too to tighten the press or its gonna be a pita using a ratchet. ;)
