I dont know, are your turbos died?
Sorry, couldnt resist.
I find it hard to believe that 2 turbos quit at the same time, unless their oil supply was cut off. Not familiar with 1jz, i dont know if they share an oil feed or have separate lines, good question for someone else. Look for boost...
Never been a fan of that show. Too many people getting screwed over for menial things, I perfer shows like cops, where they're actually taking down criminals.
you do realize that the middle piece you have now is not part of the car right? when you do the 89+ conversion, the center piece doesnt go over the one you have, you take the one you have off. The one you have will not fit 89+ tails however you could achieve the look you want by painting the...
lets review. stock bore is 83mm, you added .5 mm. Your new bore is 83.5mm. An 84mm bore hg will work just fine. you are looking to have your hg bore be slightly greater than, or equal to your cylinder bore.
Go to the light blue control pannel, click on articles (to the right of "User CP") These are written up and only posted after the mods review them. You wont find BS there, but you will find articles about both motors in detail. If one motor was all around better most of us would have it, but...
I go to a place on 44 called atlantic fuel. Its just two middle eastern guys one in the store one in the garage. When i first bought the supra I passed with an ez button taped to the dash for a horn, no tail/brake lights (TLFS issue) and i had taken my cat off and installed an hks downpipe...
This happened to me in a toyota pickup 5-6 years ago. I dont remember specificly what i was (didnt know alot about cars back then), but i remember it was relevent to the A/C system.
I finished the DIY Writeup yesterday afternoon, I posted in the articles section. When i submitted it, it said that a moderator woud review it then it would show up. I havent seen it show up or find any evidence that ever created it in my user CP. How long does this usually take?
+1 NEVER use a FCD.
You should be able to test your coil packs with a multimeter. There should be an explination and values in the TSRM, if not im almost postive the Haynes repair manual has it.
Parts are available for both motors but the 1jz seems to have a better selection. For example for a 7M your gonna be hard pressed to find anything but a brian crower camshaft a camshaft as companies like HKS have discontinued their 7M products. This is not so much because they think the 1jz is...
MOTHER FUCKER! I kept calling him but he was too much of a pussy to answer my calls. I had a trailer lined up and everything. Last time I talked to him i told him I would def buy it. Uber gay!
