IJ fails. It isn't a shorter throw in actuality. It just feels like it because the knob is closer to the actual fulcrum point.

Is it really though? I don't think it would even be a semi shorter throw because of the reduced height, like it seems like it would be. It feels shorter because your closer to the actual fulcrum point but it's really not. The actual lever still travels the same distance. I'm probably wrong...

Never been in a supra thats not turboed before this one... PLUS I've only driven it once (when i test drove it) so I may be exaggerating the power loss. I dunno. I'll find out this week and keep ya'll posted. Thanks for the replies, insight, and thoughts!

Nope 5-speed

Lower the offset, the greater they stick out of the wheel well. The higher the offset the more they are tucked in the wheel well.

Good, these are the responses I wanted. I bought the car but I'm not picking it up until this coming week sometime, so I can't really check anything until then.(I did test drive it before buying) I just wanted to get some preliminary thoughts about how to diagnose it and now I have them :)...

What do you think could be causing a 7MGE to have low end power issues. Not bogging down but just feels down on power. The car is completely driveable and I haven't ever driven a 7MGE before this one so I can't compare it to anything. The car runs strong in the higher gears like there is nothing...

Yeah I like your thinking in the original post. 5mm spacer on the front and lowered a tad more. It looks awesome right now and doing those two would perfect it.
