Im running a dbb 6265 on a stock long block with arp studs. I am extremely happy with this turbo you wont go wrong with either turbo. The biggest difference in spool is going to be what size exhaust housing you use. My setup is t4 .81 ar on a dyno dynamics it put down 497 at 21 psi. I have full...
sorry to hear about all the trouble your having. I had a similar issue with a friends supra after 3 weeks of knocking are heads it turns out the hose after afm to hard pipe was thin and weak so it was colapsing from the suction not leting the engine breath. replaced the hose and the car is...
whats the point of having a knock sensor that just gives a code every time it knocks from my understanding your knock code is picking up some type of malfunction with the sensor. always check the basics fuel, spark, compression before you start chasing problems with your electronics.
what your saying makes no sense if your thermostat is stuck closed your car will over heat. you stated your car never ran hot. if it was stuck open it would take a long time for your car to heat up to temp this will not cause your loss of coolant. sounds like a bhg the easiest thing to do is...
Van that would be great just let me know what he wants to do about the shipping. Once we get the details figured out I'll make the deposit into your paypal account thank you very much.
Supertech makes racing valves and springs all components that you would use for your head. The cam followers are actually lighter than stock. The shims go under the bucket in a recess for them. The shims can't come out unless something major happens with your head.
yea I know 2 different dealers same results waited 2 months and no parts I got tired of waiting so I went with the supertech The shims are smaller slightly bigger than the valve stem.
I had a problem getting those parts from local toyota dealer so I ended up using supertech shim under bucket setup for a 4age engine their 28 mm like the 7m I'm very happy with them only negative thing I can say is their more expensive.
Once you address the head gasket issue the 7m is very reliable keep in mind that your car is 24 yrs old and is going to need a lot of attention to details don't overlook anything and you'll be just fine.
you need to get a spill free radiator funnel at your local parts store. the 7m motor is not an easy motor to purge. this funnel makes it easy just allow the engine to warm and make sure to turn your heater all the way up once you start feeling heat out of your vents most of the air should be out...

currently running 16 psi low boost and 21 psi high boost on 93 pump gas but having problems with traction at high boost. That being said Just replaced oem head gasket after over...
