Oh don't worry I'm not a cheap MK3 owner, I thought it bolted up to a completely different piece, I see the ball and socket I have now is in great shape.
I know how to remove bushings...
No. 2 Lower Suspension Arm to Spindle- No bushings I have fit.
The remaining bushings look to fit the "strut rods", and the No. 1 Lower Suspension Arm.
Its not gonna hurt anything being open there? Why did you get rid of the AC anyways, leaking line? Was that worth the huge weight savings you gained? (>40lbs)
Can someone tell me where the other bushings go that come with the rear control arm kit, that aren't the following circled below. The names on the ES instructions and TSRM are different and I'm not sure where they go.
Ok the kit came with a lot more than I originally thought. I have 12 more bushings that haven't been put on yet, here's a picture of what I have put on, can someone tell me where the rest go. (with the numbers on the bushing would be awesome!)
Yes I know, this one isn't included in the kit, if you red the first post, you would have known I HAVE the F & R kit.
Picture added, I meant to put it up last night sorry.
I like this idea, and if you think about a lot of performance parts are lighter:
- Wheels, tires
- BBK
- Tubular manifolds
- Intercooler Piping
- Aluminum radiator
- Exhaust
- FFIM
- Battery
- Aluminum pulleys
etc.
Are poly bushings available for this arm? I have the Energy Suspension front and rear control arm bushings, can I get these somewhere? If not, anyone know how much from Toyota before I check tomorrow?
HEY! Another Gainesville Sup, great to hear. I stay pretty busy but if need some help or parts, send me a pm, and keep on the lookout through town if you see me.
Shame Milo will be long long...................................very long gone before he rides in this car, maybe he's waiting for the alternative energy switch to prevent a bad investment?
