i think its color matched to the car. if you had a darker color (black, grey) or an extremely light color (white) you got the grey. if the car is blue (like jons) it would be blue if the car was burgandy then you got the maroon color.

clutch came to mind also. maybe the clutch isnt fully disengaging when you push the clutch in and its getting roasted

look at the weep hole on the bottom and see if its wet. also if it sounds like a roller skate thats a good sign.

your coils failed the tsrm testing? check your coilpack ground, my bet is its either corroded or loose causing a weak ground. its on the right side of the engine near intake mani.

dont do it. there is a company overseas that makes clear ones and led tails for replacements. the 89+ (us or jdm) tails are the best upgrade for you probibly.
