OK, so Im in the process of removing my heater core, ive goten the dash out and basicly all my interior....when taking off the heater core box do I have to remove the main support bar that goes over it?
I'd say if your going to get them regaurdless, put them on for a little bit...and if you dont like them you can always take them off. My opinion would be leave them off though
heres a Post in th F/S section, mobes is selling one for the gte for 30$

EDIT: no, they are not interchagable, you have to get the GTE one. The ECT ECU controls all of the trannys electronic controls including the shift...
nice to hear!:icon_bigg glad you got it fixed, now if you can find someone who has one forsale you'll be in business... at least you dont have to get another tranny lol.. its x87supra87x@aol.com
check your ISC (Idle speed control valve) if it gets gunked up or if it goes bad (uncommon ut it happens) then that can cause dieing and it to be very laggy
no prob.:icon_bigg
hmmm try unpluging the ECT ECU.... then go out and see if you can shift from L to 2 to D.....if you can do it that way then im pretty sure its that. its easy to get to just remove that small piece of plastic thats on pass. side right beneath the glovebox and to the...
maybe its your ECT ECU, its a small box on the bottom passenger side, it controls your shifting...I believe there is a way to check it, ill try to find it
yea, thats true, and even though mine doesnt have that bad of a delay, I think it might work even better when I get a new TPS, my current one is on its way out fast and wont even come close to calibrated and making me idle and run funky....im working on getting one out of the F/s section now
if you read the description in the other part of the website he said the sound also lags in that video... Ill try to get a vid up as soon as I can, along with snow and finding a video camera that works wit my com it might be a little bit but Ill get one on here one way or another.
http://awshifting.com/shifters.htm, there is one on top, then twist machine further on down the page makes one that is deff. pricey but looks very professonal
thanks:icon_bigg , I think your using too much hardner in your bondo... when you mix it together throughly it should be a light pink color that way it doesnt harden too fast....trust me if you can build a engine like yours you can deff. use bondo:icon_wink
I dont think the delay is that much on mine, Ill get a video up one way or the other.. it could be as bad as a video phone unless I can figure out how to get my nice video camera to upload on my comp.
in my opnion I think it was deff. worth it....I still havent had that much time to test it out due to it starting to snow this weekend but for the time I did drive it I really like it
from my understanding besides lowerin the RPM as the over drive does it also lowers the pressure in the tranny to give you less friction..in turn gives you better mileage and more efficent...anyone please correct me if Im wrong
