    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Progress report: Saturday the guys worked and are close to completing the vinyl siding. Just one wall left. On Saturday I picked up the lighting and fans I was able to win. They should provide more than enough light. I got 7 fixtures with 6 florescent bulb spots in each. These sell for over...

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Thanks guys. It's a bit scary when I start totaling up the $ it is costing. I bought a bunch of lighting today on an auction. A cabinet shop was going out of business so I bid on some florescent lighting that should be more than enough to light her up well. BTW, we will be having 2 parties...

    Got gt35?

This was with my 2jz and a gt35 DBB, 1200cc injectors and e-85. Boost came on hard just before 4K rpm. We only had 24 lbs of boost to get the 550 rwhp. Now running Comp 67, tbb, with my spool valve, she is very responsive.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Yes, 30 x 50 with 12 ft walls. 3 doors, big one is for the hoist and shop end. The 2 smaller ones will be where my Supra and the diesel go this winter. We have a 20 x 30 ft. pad in the back where Sean will be parking his blown Supra until we are ready to yank out the 7m. Shingles will be on...

The new funky_monkey58 build thread sleeper style?

Sean, Like Emilio said, just when she was running strong. Your build was good. I vote for doing it again this winter. The 7M when build correctly is a strong foundation. Somehow the V8 swap seems a bit strange into a Supra, especially when you already had a strong set up and so many custom...

    95 blown/sprayed maro

Nice race Steve. Way to reel him in. Let's run yours and mine before you run Sean. He and I are going to do a few pulls one of these days. This was with E-85 i am assuming.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

IJ, thanks for the compliment. It is going to be a great garage. Funky_monkey58 is out there right now pounding nails. He's a bit out of place but seems to be holding up alright. Rob, I understand preparation is huge, so we will have it done professionally.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Thanks Rob, I have your new # recorded. Today the boys hope to have the walls up. Lot's of small problems as I think the crew is a bit rusty. But so far looks awesome. I had the guy who will put in my septic holding tank out today and the guy who will epoxy the floor was here as well. No price...

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Thanks Emilio, it is nice but it taken a lot of work to get her up to speed, no one basically lived here for almost 2 years. Tonight I took her out to see if Sean was correct about the cooling issue. I am happy to say with the new radiator cap she didn't over heat. Once I saw her creep up to...

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Rob, Here are a few. The garage is going to be 30 x 50 with 12 ft walls. Hoist and bathroom. Heated and floor will be epoxy coated. The house is just south of St. Cloud on Highway 15. You can see it is a big upgrade from the old shack. 2 story house with 4 bathrooms. BTW, what sold my old...

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Sean pulled off the fan shroud today and hooked the electric fans right to the radiator. After 10 miles or so, same heating issue. So he replaced the Moshimoto cap and put on the one off his Supra. Took her out again for more pretty aggressive driving and this time she stayed cool. So we will be...

The new funky_monkey58 build thread sleeper style?

The cars a turd. The set up is a gem. Now that we have had some success on figuring out why my boost wasn't coming on, I predict a race in the future. Glad your back on here Sean, you have a lot to offer the not so mechanically gifted. With tires, brakes and a tune, this car will do 10's.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

We installed a new wastegate today and took her out for a spin. She boost really hard now, much quicker than before. I can get 17-18 lbs in first gear! We had her set a 25 lbs according to my gauge, slightly less on the AEM. She is really powerful again, now that we have it sorted...
