Cool, I think I'll go that route if those pop-in injector bosses fit the 440's. I can make my own mounts for the rail, no big. It's the one for the 11mm top feeds right? Or the 14mm...? I've seen both styles. Hope this also helps anyone else doing a 1.5jz.

Which bosses are you using? After searching until 5am, I found that all of the Denso style injectors should work as long as the rail is right. All the head ports seem to be similar. I'll double check this when I get to my storage unit in a few. I know there are some kits that say they fit 11mm...

Last I checked, the 2jzge/gte bottom end's could handle 7-8,000 rpm's, correct? The thing making the 1jz feel like it's revving better is the lower weight on the internals (less rotational mass)?

That's why I said some of the OBDII 2jzge's do have it, just depends on the vehicle/year it was in. Those specific oil pumps will work just as well as the 1jz/2jz oil pumps. They all (ge and gte depending on year) had the crank trigger too for the crank sensor, which I can use either of those...

Correct, the GE timing gear is different. If you cannot find a good used 1jz/2jzgte timing gear, toyota has them for $87 or so. I called and the guy gave me a bogus part number so I checked around myself and found this part number for the gear with the GTE timing teeth - 13052-46010...
