    who drive what in snow

Yes, you would air them down to float on top of snow but you would also do so on glare ice. The softer tire will tend to deform a bit more and make more contact with whatever imperfections are on the ice surface. At all other times it is beneficial for the tire to be at recommended pressures so...

    who drive what in snow

I drive my 97 Grand Prix GTP. GM W body's kick ass in the snow. Lots of weight over the front tires and good snow tires make winter driving easy. I am sitting here inside looking out at probably the worst storm of the year so far. There are people all down the street already stuck. I have a...

    50 trim dyno #s

Great numbers! Damn I need to spend some money on my car. Too bad the graph isn't plotted with RPM on the X axis.

what provieds a smoother ride and better stance h&r springs or ebachis

A strut combines the compressive duties of a shock absorber with the ability to handle loading from another axis. The most common type is the Macpherson strut. We don't have these on our cars. P.S. Posting a link to Suprasport.com is not a proper reference and doesn't mean shit.

    Pics of The Sup

Overall very nice shots. Because these show talent I will offer some ways I think you could make them a little better. I really like #4 but the other plane on the left takes away from the focus of the shot. I would leave the camera exactly where is is and move the car to the left a few feet...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

I don't think it will look "goofy" but I don't think it will give you the results you want. If I were you, I would look at some of the cheapish 17" wheels with a bit better offset and some more width. It will cost more for sure but in the end I think you will be happier. Plus you won't be...

How protective are you of your Supra?

The people whom are to be listened to on this forum don't give a shit about the point system. ;) Spend more time on this forum before you start making short comments about people. If you care to enjoy this forum it is important to make a good first impression or you will find yourself on...

1 foot exhuast? would it harm the turbo?

That's terrible advice. An electric cutout is an excellent idea for a street car. People with straight pipes annoy me and I tell them so.

    17" or 18" Wheels ?

Who makes a 275 for a 16" wheel that isn't a competition tire? When I was looking such a tire did not exist. For this reason I feel the 16" wheel size is limited by tire availability. I like my 17's because I think they suit the car. 18's are the max I think is suitable for the Mk3. I hope my...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Should fit exactly like the stockers. Will seem to be a little sunken in if the car is lowered.

Dead turbo won't give BHG symptoms. What made you think you had a BHG in the first place?

Tire sizes/spacers for MK4 TT wheels

Keep in mind that spacers larger than ~10mm will need longer wheels studs to achieve the proper number of turns with the lug nuts. Also, make sure that the spacers are hub centric.

    HKS intake

I'm currently running an AMS Oil filter right now and am happy with the filtering compared to my previous HKS. However, I have no idea what kind of flow rates it achieves compared to the other, more expensive filters on the market.

You want the 40 up front to keep the front and rear tires as similar as possible.

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Rear tire should fit no problem and you will want to get the 35 aspect sidewall. For the front the 245 will work great.

    MKIII question

It's fine that you know you are wasting your own $10. However, have you ever recommended seafoam to anyone? If so, you just wasted their $10 because they trusted you and you gave them misinformation. This is the biggest problem with people today. A lot of them talk about stuff they really...
