I really need an epic idea this year. 2 years ago I went as a streaker. Last year I wore a fat suit since it was COLD outside. It worked out well because I could smuggle alcohol everywhere I went.

Not stem seals. Those are most noteable at start-up since the oil is able to drip into the cylinders while the car is not running. Sounds a lot like the turbo to me. How is your shaft play?
I just noticed that there is some corrosion on the negative terminal. I will clean it and give it a shot.
EDIT: Thanks Joe. That seems to be all that was wrong. When I pulled off the red cover it was ALL corrosion. Spent 5 min with some baking soda and a tooth brush and all seems to be well again.
So I finally got my car running properly again a few weeks ago. Today I went to a friends house and when I was leaving the car wouldn't start. Pushed clutch in, turn key, all I heard was a very rapid clicking. Not sure if this was the solenoid popping or if it was the gear on the starter not...
I used 8mm spacers which allowed me to use the stock wheel studs but eliminate rubbing and make the wheels a little more flush...still not enough though.
This is a very old picture since I sold these wheels a long time ago. However, I think this is the proper tire sizes for the rims. 225/50/16 front and 245/45/16. It keeps the circumferences as close as possible. 255/45 would be best but I could never find a tire company who made one.
We get it...calm down. The cam covers should not leak. We have cap heads screws and new seals. If they leak, that problem should be addressed. We should not have to rely on the valley cover to keep oil out. My car has been running for a few years and does not leak oil into the spark plug valley...
