So I have been planning my build for a while and keep coming back to turbo choice. Last year I was limited to choosing between the BOSS series and an upgraded CT. Now however, Suprasport is offering their new BOSS Jr.
This seems like the solution in my search for the ultimate spool over...
I drive this in the winter. We now have literally 3 times as much snow now. About 180 cm so far this year.
I left the car in the parking lot for a few hours while I went to the pub with my girlfriend. Came back and it had been keyed. Looks like I am calling the insurance company and making a...
Wow, I tried to read the first of these two posts and gave up. One to many run on sentences for me to care about the validity of your side of the issue.
Moral of the story: If it is difficult to read ones posts, they will be overlooked automatically. This means that regardless of the content of...
That Video was boring as hell. The music sucked and it accomplished nothing. What a shame considering there was so much potential with that camera angle and decent sound quality. Such a pity...
+1. I have an 18" resonator, a high flow cat and a Magnaflow muffler and it's great. Very little drone. Just a slight hum if I'm in 5th from 2000 to 2400 and it's not even that noticeable. At all other times there is no drone.
Those sound like Mustang offsets. We have trouble fitting wheels that big without making compromises. You have to choose between ride height and tire size if you want to run a wheel that wide.
What are your plans for this car? Purely car shows or do you want it to work properly on the track or...
Not sure if they were recalled but I know they went out of production. I had bought them a year before I finally got around to putting them on the car. I did not buy them directly from Suprasport either.
Right now I am using the Aluminum version of the LIPP arms. We will see how long they last before I eventually break them. So far they have survived one season at just below 300 whp. If/when they break I will buy a set of SS ones.
If you want the wide tires you should pick the front at +36 and the rears at +35. From what I have seen with wheels with this offset, it is popular to go with a 245/275 combo. From pictures and talking to some of the owners I think it would be possible to fit the 255/285 tires you want.
Supra is in the Garage (usually -10 C or less) with a clutch pedal stuck to the floor, a worn out LSB, leaky Targa seals and missing a CPS. I have also taken the wheels completely apart to polish them and have the centers powder coated.
I need summer back so I can get back to work and make...
+35 in the rear would be fine but that leaves the front kinda sunk in. The front would be more flush at +25 to +30. Not sure what you mean by bore size. Are you referring to the size of the hole in the rim to make them hub centric?
Depends on your personal tastes. Depending on the widths of your wheels they may be sunk in a fair bit or they may fit decent. I forget how they look on your car.
Would look weird and would negatively affect the handling of the car. Bad idea all 'round. Max size for the Sawblades is generally accepted to be 245's.
