I'm sure that would depend on the type of race. You'd walk away from me in the twisties, because traction becomes a big issue in the turns with a lead foot and no PS.
lol neither did I the first time. Infact I didn't even notice it was 12 pt until the head was off.. then i was very thankful. The second time i tried to wing it and stripped out a headbolt :cry:. I drilled at it for about 5 hours before it popped off.. nothing like learning the hard way :sarcasm:
I ordered one from toyota japan. That was a fail :(.
I found a set of the 12pt allens in summit's tool catalog. For much cheaper than I payed for the one socket.
Edit: my boss threw away the catalog so I don't have the part number.. if you call them I'm sure they can look it up. I can't find...
Never tried, but I'm sure with all the people with SC300's (factory 2JZGE's), that swap to Soarer 1JZGTE's have test fit it, and if it fit we'd know about it.
But hey, ya never know!
