depending on whats reusable inside the engine it could be hard to rebuild as parts are damn near impossible to find as they were made in such limited quantities....the best place to find info on these engines would be euro supra forums etc as they are a bit more common in the narrow body...

oil smoke is usually gray...but that can sometimes get mistaken....id have to say turbo is blown also

wtf this car is in chicago?.....is it registered? this car has got to be one of only a few 1g supras that are in the united states....id buy it just to have the rarity! be cautious as it may not be legal or impossible to register without mad cash...

its a 1ggte...very rear engine that was in mkiii's...its also a very small motor will very little aftermarket support...why they put that engine in such a heavy car is beyond me

i cleaned my whole engine bay with purple power and a tooth brush...it worked great! before after now i used it in pure concentrate and after cleaning an area id quickly hit it with a spray bottle filled with water and wipe it dry...it didnt hurt any paint or aluminum...

personally the only thing i pay attention to when looking for a supra is straight body....thats it lol...as jj said, these cars have been abused and fuckered up generally so one must come to terms with that and be fully prepared to rework the car. its a shame but a sad truth:-(

Already took care of it...it wasn't a sticker but an laser etch I believe...sanded the pipe down and repolished it.

On paper there are negitives....and for record breaking high speed runs then a single aluminum would be a bad choice...with that said 100's of people here are running them and no reported issues as of yet...including myself
