Gates Raceing power grip hose clamps?

Kevlar??? Gates racing never said they use Kevlar...why do people keep saying shit like this? Gates has glass cord running threw the belts to add strenth etc.. Any way...upper and lower rad hoses are probably $100 from Toyota...gates racing was $60....I'd rather go with gates thanks.

Gates Raceing power grip hose clamps?

Not silicone....it's not cheap shit though! Just good quality gates racing hoses...beats paying $120 for a set of silicone hose...considering the stock Toyota hose lasted 20 years the gates hose should last just fine. Gates racing hoses cost $60 for the set...good enough

Gates Raceing power grip hose clamps?

Gates hose isn't silicone;-)....either way I hate the look of worm clamps and new Toyota clamps are like $8 each...for $8 I can get tbolt clamps.

FFIM, AEM, Q45 & IAC setup?

There is no water ports that route to the accordion....that is a vacume port and with an aem you don't need to route it there...instead you can just put a filter on the vac port of the iscv.

    engine tuning

There are a few that bolt up with minor mods yes but they all cost about $1000+. Now you can bolt these turbos on and drive but they flow much more air and you'll fuel cut like a son of a bitch unless you mod everything else to handle the bigger turbo.. So far what I see is you want more...

Put the tools down and step away from the 7M!

There is no helping people like this!!! This is a dude who obviously just randomly does shit without any thought...the type of person that thinks putting oil in a car means to litterally fill the engine block full of oil till it over flows...local Ferrari guy here in Philly did that to his...

looking for opinions on "low mileage" jdm engines

If you're question the jdm engines then you're obviously not qualified to rebuild a head with you doing the work....like Ian said "how does a 20+ year old motor only have 50,000 miles"....seriously dude put the pipe down if I had rebuilt my own head it would have cost me $20 in valve seals...

    Swapping a 89+ engine in a 89- body

You really need to just stop talking! Turbo requires a gte harness of the same year with ecu of same year....you'll need a 1987 turbo ecu and a 1987-88 wire harness (yellow plug)....you'll need to use your 1987 motor mounts as well....aswell as all the gte electronics....you will need a gte...

    Won´t rev past 5500rpm

Code 41 explains alot! Turn your ac off...don't touch the gas pedal....clear codes then check codes again...if you get a 41 that sure as hell would not help the issue... I know you've had the code for 2 years but small problems don't fix themselves...this may come as a shock but they...

    Engine/Tranny Swap question

The cross members are all the same or atleast all work but the trans mount (bolts to the cross member) will be different between auto and 5spd...I don't think you'll have a problem...if you do and need those parts I have an extra r154 mount and cross member.
