Boost always falls off at high rpms on a ct as our motors can breath more air than a ct can push....I'd shoot for 12 psi on that ct and see what happens....14-15 seems to be where the ct runs out of steam in stock form.
How would you drive to the Etown meets etc on e85.....your milage would suffer severly and like you said "only about 3 pumps in a 50 mile radius of Philly:-(....now of you bought a truck and trailer than hook it up lol!
what oil are you useing? and are you sure your voltage isnt dropping off causing the aftermarket guage to drop its needle? when you rebuilt the engine did you accidentally bend the oil pump pickup away from the pan?

oil pressure is rpm dependent only...load and boost play no part..
are you 100% sure you have 5-6 quarts of oil in the system?
the turbo shouldnt effect pressure reguardless...if it did then it would effect psi across the board and not just in the high rpm...
this is a very strange...
i used a tooth brush with the purple power...id dip the brush in the cleaner then scrub a small area....then rinse the hell out of it with water....
i did not saturate the engine bay with purple power just the tooth brush...
those look like -6 hose ends...that will be just fine as its sucking air not fluid...just plumb it up correctly and mount the can in a cold area for best results....your sister has an eye for cool lookin parts though!
this is the united states we are talking about.....no 1g ever came here in any car....and it would be a stupid expensive build if youd have to order everything from japan to rebuild or whatever....now over seas it may not be near as bad....1j parts are much more popular here and american...
