Nah, it'll look better with an 89+ bumper... I have each and prefer the 89+!!!

Its not the ECU its the ignition system, coilpacks vs distributor... You can swap a couple of resistors and make an NA tach work, or you can do what I did and swap in a turbo tach... Minus the gauge cluster srews, the tach is held on by two screws and its all plug and play...

Here are the part numbers for brand new ones from toyota.. 81521-14332 81511-14332 These are 89+ euros, pre 89s are no longer in production.. Ask different dealers, as I got mine for $80 shipped for the pair...

when it happened to me, my turbo bearing was blown to hell... when I took it off, the bearing fell out in 3 pieces... check shaft play on it, it's probably gone and hope your oil pump screen does its job..

unpainted 91/92 trim FTW... as you can see the trim is unpainted, but color-matched.. good luck finding some though, but I'd say paint it...

they both do... Toyoda PS caps were left over truck caps if I remember right..

There is a valve on the passenger side firewall. That is the heater valve, to do a test, pull up on the lever on the bottom and you should get heat, well if its warm. If there's no heat even after you open up the valve then its something else... You can ziptie the valve open, loop the vacuum...

Even without a thermostat you'll eventually reach operating temps, might take half an hour to do so but it'll get there... Might be a combo of stuck thermo and a broken gauge... By the way did you switch to an NA manifold?

you can do various swaps, depends on the car.. for example, you can swap in a v8 from an SC430 into your MKIII, a 7MGTE (since the car starts off as a 1G), or even a 2JZ, which is what I have done.. I believe there is a 1JZ, but I'm not a fan so I haven't researched further depending on what...
