Bumper assy is held on with 2 bolts. fasia is another 4 iirc. Removing them could solve this cheaper than buying a new hoist. May want to remove intercooler as well.

Having the exhaust stud holes strip out is usually a sign of annealing. Did you have your head tested for hardness?

I got a duralast leveler from AZ for like 40 iirc. But again you get what you pay for. I wasnt happy with the leveler crank, but the end of the shaft was hex so I just took the crank handle off, threw a socket and ratchet on it. Viola! 10 times faster and less tiring.
