Dam sorry to hear that man. I went through the same thing but worst. My one was stolen from my house and similar damage to the side fender and bumper and killed the engine. So spent almost over 5k+ restoring the car.
Try getting your code 22 solved and see what happens. I believe you ecu would want to know what engine temp is at to know if it reached operating temperature and to prevent knocking otherwise fail safe mode.

Umm... yeah? *smiles happily* schematics are too abstract for my liking... buut i'm working on it, his write ups are perfect simplicity for a dummy like me and I know people like that aren't your cup of tea sorry man.
Sorry to revive an old thread. So I suppose I'd have to go VPC for my neo. No wonder my dyno results seemed somewhat disappointing... but first things first I have to check my firmware before I start blaming.
Yeah i remember someone here pulled of 500+rwtq on stock internals, excpet for the head gasket and studs. So it's a pretty sturdy engine.
There's many write-ups, guides and info that's been lying around the forum for years already, so don't skip reading them.
ahh thanks for the input IJ. I'll feel alot more comfortable using these filters then. Which one of the three oil filters should I be looking at for the Moroso filters? (looked it up in the web)
Non of the quality filters (pure one, Wix, mobil 1 and K&N) are found in my country, maybe I haven't searched hard enough. But in our everyday store I go I'm stuck with vavoline and Ryco which are pretty much the main brands. Sorrie if to take this off topic.
