You're right. I just went and checked and it looks like that's all it needs. This may be very tricky with the grinder. I guess I will clean up the thread after with a die.
I am thinking I will have to do just that. I spent some time today and this is what I happened.
Took the line off the car again. Checked the threads on the master and the line. Master threads look fine as far as I can see. The threads on this line look the same as the first Driftmotion line...
I didn't like it very much. I managed to look past the car flaws and impossible antics but all that was left was mediocre acting.
It was probably the second best after the original but it could have been so much better. I don't see how they car let all these flaws through when they would be so...
That forum is painful to read. Pad overhang is a serious design flaw that seems to be beyond the comprehension of many on the other forum. I can't believe whoever "designed" that kit, and I use the term loosely, would feel ok selling it to the public.
I've run one auto-X which took place at Picton airfield up here in Canada. It is extremely fast for an auto-X. I think I got the car into third for a few seconds on the long straight. My car handled very flat and didn't push as much as I had expected. I think the best way for me to fix this...
Mean Piston speed = 2LN
L = stroke
N = rotational speed of the crankshaft
Instantaneous piston speed is much higher than the mean piston speed.
Speed instantaneous / Speed mean = (Pi/2)*sin@ [ 1 + (( cos@)/ ((R^2 - sin^2@) ^ 0.5)) ]
@ = theta = angle of rotation of crankshaft
R = l/a
l =...
When I get back I will pull this second line, pull the master and check all threads. Then I will chase the threads with a tap and possibly chase the threads on the line with a die.
I am sick of this shit. This car should have been together a week ago without this stupid problem.
Yup, mine is the long one. I had the short one in and then ruined the line between the slave and the flex line. I couldn't find the hard line anywhere around here so I decided to just do the whole thing because it wasn't much more than the short flex line. Now I wish I had just found the hard...
So I have been trying to replace the clutch line on my car because the lower hard line got ruined. I got a full length flex line to replace all the lines. I also installed a new slave and master at the same time. So EVERYTHING is new.
I installed it all and tightened it, pour fluid in and it...
I wish people wouldn't use the term lag when they should be referring to time to spool.
I want to know how quickly this valve can open and close. Will it be quick enough to actually reduce turbo lag or will it only be useful to reduce time to spool? I guess I don't know enough about this...
Yes, but it's not that simple. Different types of resonators will have different affects on flow. The most common type used is a glass pack type. Mine is roughly 18 inches long. It is a straight through design but there are holes in the inner pipe which allow the exhaust to enter into the...
This is a link to a set of Corbeau's that look very similar to the Recaro seats from Japan which came stock in their cars. I would buy these if I were to ever switch seats in my car...
