You could just roll with the SAFC, 440cc injectors and the FCD. The FCD just the prevents it from going over the voltage that sets off fuel cut, as long as you have the fuel supply that prevents it from leaning out there shouldn't be an issue. I would also get a wide band if you don't already...
I'm talking about the switches on the body, I believe those are tied into not only the dome light but also the alarm system. They tell the alarm when the door is open or not, I used them to wire in my aftermarket alarm which is where I ran into a problem. I think I just miss understood what...
You can try and tune past Fuel cut, but its easier to just get something like Emanage, with the Greddy map sensor you can use that to hit two bar. This is of course after you use the software to clamp down the factory MAP sensory voltage to prevent it from going over the threshold. I ended up...
More than likely this, if you set your dome lights to turn on when the doors open you can kind of test it out, try to wiggle them and ee what it does with the lights. I replaced both of mine because of this reason.
The big thing is I think most people change them around 60k miles, when they get old and hard they may not seal right which allows oil to leak past into the cylinders. That's why you might see supra's rolling around with bluish exhaust (then again that could also be from a number of things)...
Might as well lol, so here's another thing..... while the motor is out it might be a good time to change your valve stem seals, I can't tell you how easy it would have been with the motor out of the car. That and your back will thank you later.
Hey bill I'll try to answer the best that I can and to my knowledge, they have a lot of people here that can help as well.
1. From what I've seen the stock internals can actually handle more than what you listed.
2. As form the fuel system, I would look at changing out you injectors to...
Since you didn't get to make it to SIV I would recommend taking your time on cleaning up the engine by and getting things sorted with what ever happenes to be rusted up. Also with that since you have so much taken apart already I would do a search here to see how some people have gone about...
Oh shit I didn't see he had AEM 1 lol if I had known that I would have saved my time haha. I have aAEM 2 by the way so I know what a stand alone is.
I would agree with his course of action for testing for fuel, I think I recall hearing that you've already looked at the wiring harness correct?
